Country pet lodge was amazing. My dog has anxiety issues and tends not to eat while we go away. He was so comfortable that he ate and enjoyed the amazing snack options available. They said he was loving and enjoyed all his hugs and kisses. Definitely will be going back soon.

Boarded both my dogs here first time ever boarding them and staff was very welcoming. They gave my one dog the daily meds she needed they also kept me informed on how they were doing. I needed to extend their stays and they worked with me. My one dog went in with an ear issue that was treated by the vet I explained to them what was going on and unfortunately the treatment didn't work as expected. They immediately let me know and did what they could to keep her comfortable. Due to the medication my dog had developed some stomach issues temporarily they called to tell me what they wefe going to try a rice and chicken diet and other options to help. My situation was not the best but they really helped me I would definitely recommend country pet lodge.

I am amazed at how well they handled my dog! He’s a tough little guy🤦♀️ full bath, clipped and nails cut and filed without using a muzzle! Now that’s amazing! They did a wonderful job and it was a pleasure from my first interaction on the phone. Good job! I definitely recommend them!

We've been taking our dog here for the last two-ish years and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. The facilities are clean, the staff is so kind and caring, and my dog always seems to come back happy (and tired, which is a tough one with an energetic dog like him). Our dog recently started some new medication and they were incredibly accommodating with giving it to him and also giving him an extra treat to encourage him to take it.I always love the report card and that they give suggestions for future visits.

It was the first time I tried this pet lodge. I wasn't disappointed. I have three senior pets ranging in age from 13 to 10 years. They took such great care of them as if they were their own. From giving them the medication needed to maintaining their special diets, they did an excellent job. I am pleased with their services. I highly recommend them.

We got our nine-year-old cat shaved and groomed for the first time ever to help with her hairballs in the summer, and they were great! She was in and out in 30 minutes and they did a fantastic job. I was extremely nervous because our cat can be a bit... dramatic... but everything seemed to go without a hitch, and I am so impressed with their speedy professionalism. We were so happy with the service and the outcome, we will definitely be coming back here in the near future!

My dog Brody was recently diagnosed as diabetic and thus is now insulin dependent. The kennel he has been familiar with for 7 years cannot administer insulin shots so I was in a panic to find an alternative for boarding. The folks at Country Pet Lodge were patient with my 100 questions and were very willing to give Brody a trial overnight stay to make sure they could meet his needs. I appreciate their kindness both to me and my stressed out pup!

We brought our just over 1 year old Rough Collie, Scout here earlier this week. I was very impressed with the staff and their attention to detail. Donna did a great job making us feel welcome. Our groomer did a fantastic job trimming Scout’s body, legs and around his ears! His nails were trimmed expertly as well. Country Pet Lodge had him ready to go quickly at right around 2 hours.Scout even got out of his collar and decided to investigate the office due to having much less hair to hold it on. They didn’t mind and were very kind until I could get the collar back on him. There are toys, traditional and home made treats as well as pet supplies for sale as well. Very well kept and clean appearance too. The pricing is very fair which is an added bonus.I would consider us picky with where we take our pets and we’re devastated when Furry Tails (our previous groomer) closed unexpectedly in Deptford last year. Well it was great we found Country Pet Lodge. We will be coming back often and have found our new groomer! Thanks for a great experience for Scout!

I had my 92lb fur baby Travis board at Country Kennel for a week. Travis shared a kennel with my mom's yorkie Smokey. They seem to have a bit of a slow start due to being in a different enviroment, however quickly adjusted. The staff at Country Kennel were great when we called to check on our fur babies. We received lots of feedback and I felt super comfortable having them in a safe place while on vacation. The pups even got a report card, which I loved! Travis was groomed at the end of the week, he smelled great and his coat was very soft. I highly appreciate and recommend Country Kennel. thank you!

We left our 6.5 yo golden retriever for 10 days. He had not been left anywhere for over 6 mos so we wanted a place that would love on our sweet boy. Country Pet Lodge & Salon not only gave him much love but they had written reports from everyone on his daily activities! He came out to greet us very happy with his tail wagging which was a sign he enjoyed his visit. We will definitely be using Country Pet Lodge & Salon again!!

I took my two German Shepherds here to be boarded for 5 days. They have never been boarded before, so I was very nervous about leaving them. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The staff was very kind, helpful, and professional. (Special shout out to Kathy for keeping me in the loop when my dogs had upset stomachs.) All staff went above and beyond to care for my dogs. We had a wonderful experience and I will use them again. I highly recommend!

We recently boarded our pair of cats at Country Pet Lodge & Salon in Lindenwold, NJ for well over a week. These cats had absolutely NO problems with their experience and showed the signs of care and attention that we were sure that we'd see in this service. We took our two cat fur babies here for the first time last week and were a little nervous about taking them away from their home environment for the week while we were away. We kept in touch with the staff via email and they responded quickly to our questions about how our cats were doing. We also had our cats groomed before we picked them up after their stay. We were very happy with the care the staff took of our cats and will definitely board there again. The staff treats your pets like their own 😻😻.

We are new to the area and needed a groomer for our Shih Tzu. It was very easy to call and set up an appointment for the following week. We were also able to email over the shot records ahead of time. Country Pet Lodge called the day before to reconfirm the appointment and give us instructions on how to drop the dog off due to Covid restrictions. We were very pleased with the haircut and how quickly they completed it.

My dogs LOVE Country Pet Lodge so much they can't wait to get in there when I drop them off! My Misty has since gone to Rainbow Bridge, however my Benji still loves staying there even though he doesn't like being away from me! Best kennel I’ve ever worked with! I run a foster based rescue and there are times when the foster placement falls through and we have to board dogs. We recently boarded three of our dogs here and it was the best kennel we have ever used. The kennel was extremely clean. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They also understand the importance of long term boarders getting out of the kennel every day for walks and play time which I love. The owner is extremely kind and called me personally to check in on one of my rescues who wasn’t feeling well after spay surgery. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We found this wonderful place when we lived in Voorhees 12 years ago. Those who know me know how much I love my pet family members and only want the best for them. When we were looking for a place to bring our Teddy when we went away, we found Country Pet Lodge as it was close to us at the time. From the day we walked in to the day we picked him up, we knew he wouldn’t go anywhere else. Even when we moved an hour away before we moved back 30 minutes closer, we didn’t hesitate in driving there to bring him to a place we trusted and that he loved going to.
The staff is amazing and the amenities offered are great (Teddy loves his Friday night Pizza and Sunday morning bagel breakfast.) He also gets his daily romp n stroll where he can play and take a walk outside. When he’s due for a haircut, they can do it during his stay and he comes out smelling delicious. Just yesterday, we picked him up and he smelled like cherry 🍒 pie, wearing the cutest bandanna. (In response to a ridiculous review I just read, yes, all of this stuff is extra but it’s more than affordable and you can completely customize your stay in terms of amenities. The daily boarding rate is also almost too reasonable for the care and peace of mind that is given.)
I think the best part is when we get the recap of his stay there, hear them calling “Teddy to the front” and see him trotting down the hall with all of his doggie friends barking their goodbyes. It’s like his own personal vacation away from us too. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Teddy and haven’t for 12 years now. All we have to say is “Teddy, ready to go to Country Kennel?” and he starts running and nipping at our legs to get going.
We couldn’t recommend this place more!!!

We just had our baby(a 55lb+ lab) Fozzie stay there this past week and we couldn’t have been happier! He did really well for his first time ever being away from his family. We called to check on him and they were sooo friendly and didn’t mind at all they let us know honestly how he was doing and even suggested a bath before he leaves because he couldn’t quite get the hang of going on the “outside” to use the bathroom. When I picked him up he looked and smelled amazing and his nails were grinder perfectly, he didn’t take a pound of flesh off when he jumped up like he usually does. I feel so comfortable and safe taking him back there. As far as pricing goes, it’s absolutely reasonable, I got quotes at some local places(I live in south Philly) and it was more than country pet lodge and we would get less room for him to be in so it didn’t make sense. We cannot wait to send him back when we need to go away! Thank you for taking such good care of our little(big) baby

Please explain to me how a kennel who openly advocated feeding “burgers and pizza” treats as a PERK (for extra money, like everything else) is a 4 star rated business.
Me and my fiancé used this kennel for two days, and in those two days we had to pay an extra $60 for “potty walks”. I thought the purpose of a kennel was to take care of your animal while you were gone, but you have to pay an extra $3 for “peace of mind” per pet. I’m not sure what peace of mind I got.
What I did get was a first impression of a place that hasn’t been updated since the day it was open. Literature and products sit yellowing on their shelves, along with menu boards for other various services that will again, set you back more money.
Included in this is a limo driver, if you’re in the market for that when you drop your dog off.
I may not have gotten piece of mind, but what I did get (to add to the $250 bill I paid for 2 nights, 2 dogs WITH a discount) was two cases of kennel cough, and a pamphlet on how to treat it. No apology, no offer of a discount on the stay, no explanation whatsoever besides “these things are out of our control”.
Which may be true, but at least act like you’re apologetic to giving my two dogs an illness that they are both properly vaccinated for. Offer to help somehow other than a poorly copied list of instructions on how to feed them cough medicine.
I will never be back. My dogs will never be back. Any place my dogs go to be “taken care of” that I have to PAY EXTRA for them to see the sunlight is a con. Their business may have been good in 1990, but it’s 2018, it’s time for a change.

This is hands down the best place to leave your pet when you go away. We use their services several times a year for the past 9 years and will continue to do so. Our dog loves it there so much that we can’t even let him see his doggie travel bag the night before, because he won’t sleep. When we drop him off, he is so excited that he doesn’t even say goodbye to us. We never have to feel guilty when we drop him off with his Country Pet Lodge friends!

They take excellent care of your pets while you go and enjoy your vacation. They offer many amenities to add to your pet's stay and will even give them any medication that they may require. Super clean with a a very caring and compassionate staff who take care of you while you're being neurotic dropping your pet off at a kennel. Believe me, it's not a kennel, it's a pet vacation paradise.

DON'T EVER BRING YOUR DOGS HERE!!!!! We paid over $500 to board our 2 dogs for a week while we went on vacation, and will NEVER go back again! Both of our dogs have kennel cough, which is caused by OVERPOPULATED AND DIRTY KENNELS. So now, we have to pay for vet appts and medicine on top of what we already paid!

The best kennel EVER! Hank & Linda are truly amazing and they treat every customer and pet like family! I HIGHLY recommend Country Kennel! I went crazy trying to find a someone that I could trust with my $6000 Full Bred Black Russian Terrior with and when I found this place I knew my 80 pound 7 month old puppy would be treated like Royalty. I'll never use another kennel again for any pet I have in the future except them! Thank you and your staff for being so FANTASTIC, Niko and I appreciate you all!
