We boarded our dog overnight here and we're very happy with the experience. He was well taken care of and groomed beautifully. We will be taking him back here again.

They are top notch at Country Pet Lodge. Our dog loves to go there, he gets excited when we tell him it's a spa day. We have been going there quite a few years now.
This was our first time and we will continue to use them as they were fantastic!!!
What a great group of people. We just moved and needed are pup washed ASAP and they took him right in. He smells amazing, soft and half the hair! They did amazing! Will be back soon
Country pet lodge is the only place that I would trust To watch my dog while I am away. My husband and I were originally planning on using another boarding service and we’re not pleased with the unexpected drop in visit we did with them- Establishment was very dirty and we did not feel right leaving our boy there. Not only was country pet lodge able to get us in last minute, but they took amazing care of him! An unexpected issue happened where we needed to pick him up early, and they let us no problem and even refunded us the balance. 10/10 experience we feel very grateful our vet recommended us to them!
We were recommended Country Pet Lodge from the vet when we were in a bind and needed a last minute boarding for an out of state wedding. When I called, they were very helpful and was able to book a reservation less than 24 hours before we were supposed to leave. They made me feel at ease as they explained how they try to make dogs feel at home and treat them like their own family. When my husband dropped off our dog, he said everything was very clean. Our dog is normally anxious and tempermental but he seemed more eager to enter than other boarding places we have been to. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our dogs stay after a few hours since our toddler became ill, causing us to cancel our trip all together. Country Pet Lodge was super understanding and accommodating throughout this whole process and our change of plans. We will definitely board with them again as they truly care about the customers and the well being of their pets.

UPDATE: I must give credit to Country Pet Lodge who reached out to me personally to discuss my experience. Which to me speaks volumes about their establishment. Damian was incredibly friendly and informative while still taking my concerns seriously and made my thoughts feel valued. He also provided insight on some of my concerns and addressed the areas that needed improvement.
While it doesn’t change what we did experience, I am looking forward to giving Country Pet Lodge the opportunity to provide the service that matches the 5 star reviews listed here.

A Transactional Experience
My experience with Country Pet Lodge was not poor, but it also was not what I expected from such a highly rated establishment. As someone who has spent a decade working in pet care myself, I found that Country Pet Lodge didn’t meet my personal expectations of what “top quality” care/service is. Details below.
The Positives:
- the facility is clean, and each pup gets a private space
- staff was very pleasant
The Negatives:
- The first thing that upset me was that you have to pay extra to receive a photo update of your dog. $5 per day for one photo. Or you can book their most expensive package to have it included. In 2025, with how easy it is to take and send a photo, this should be included in the base price of any overnight care. Every single dog walker sends photos of your pup on the walk. When I leave my pup at a care facility, I should not be charged a premium for a bare minimum effort of taking a photo. Not to mention that there was no effort made in the photos sent.
- They do not offer any insight on how your dog is doing. No daily updates. And if you pay the $5 daily for a photo, you don’t even get an update there. Just one photo of your dog (my dog looked sad in every picture) and a generic AI created inspirational quote about paw prints. Again, in 2025, a basic daily update on your dog’s experience should be included. If you want to learn how things are going you have to call or email them. Notes on email below.
- It took them 6 hours to reply to a simple email of mine.
- You pay extra for potty breaks. I received a note at the end of the stay that stated “Recommend potty breaks in future.” Again. Potty breaks should be included in the charge. This feels like nickel and diming your pet owners. $5 for a photo, pay extra for potty breaks, etc. Not a fan of this model and their website makes it seem like all of these things are included. Then you learn they are upcharges.
- While the staff was kind, there was nothing personalized about my or my pets experience. The best way to describe it is “transactional.” No one took the time to learn more about my pup other than the bare minimum. No one commented on my dogs behavior or mannerisms. When I picked him up, no one made any sort of effort to treat him with genuine interest. He barked when I dropped him off and it made the handler visibly nervous. Not a great impression, since barking is a dogs natural reaction to anything.
- I am not confident in how they handle the dogs. My pup was boarded about two years ago all the time, he does regular grooming and pet visits. He is shy boy but warms up. When I came to pick him up after his stay, I was told they were more comfortable with me putting his own harness on. This has never been an issue before and concerned me with how they handled him while I was away. This to me says that the proper amount of patience and attention that is needed for shy dogs is not given. I was very upset with this.
At the end of the day, if you are looking for a basic, run of the mill, transactional experience, this place will do just fine. I don’t settle for that. When it comes to my pup, he should feel comfortable and his experience should be more customized than what we experienced here. Or at least they could fake it. You would expect a babysitter of a child to send daily updates yes?
I am surprised by the rave reviews of Country Pet Lodge after my experience.

The staff is so friendly and great with animals. My dogs had a fantastic time & had so my fun. They were still tired from all the fun for 2 days after we got home.
Tony had them smelling so fresh & clean when we picked them up.

Traditional boarding with cages and play time. When we drop off, my dog pulls hard to go inside and again to go back to the kennels. He likes it, so we like it.
I took my cat for a bath and nails her coat was so soft afterwards and staff was nice.
Friendly staff. Multiple play areas for the pups. Reasonable pricing.
**PUPDATE** My chihuahua Milo just completed his first 9 day "sleepover"! I was worried he may shut down being on a strange place with strange dogs and people because he does have some anxiety issues. I shouldn't have been 🙂! Not only did his report card say he enjoyed his treats and time outside but the staff I spoke with said he was friendly and gave them extra cuddles and kisses! On top of all of this, the groomer was able to trim his nails where my vet had trouble doing so. I can't say enough about the team! Thank you all so much for taking such good care of my fur-baby.

Pumpkin did great her first time at Country Pet Lodge. She can be very wary of strangers. But here she warmed right up to the ladies. I will definately use them again.
Boarded both my dogs for a few days. Everyone is great at Country Pet Lodge. One of my dogs is dog aggressive toward other dogs. Took extra precautions to ensure he was kept from other dogs during his stay. Appreciate the extra effort. Thank you for putting my mind at ease and how well my dogs were cared for.
So clean! I love that our fur babies are in a clean environment and well cared for while we were on vacation. Their first boarding place was not and they smelled so bad and all their stuff smelled urine and I was very upset thinking that they were in that condition for days. With Country Pet Lodge they didn’t stink and they had delicious treats too. Highly recommended!

We have had the pleasure of boarding our pets at Country Pet Lodge several times over the past few months, and we are continually impressed with the facility and the incredible team that works there. While many places have friendly staff, Country Pet Lodge goes beyond expectations in both kindness and compassion.
Recently, we faced the heartbreaking loss of our sweet boy, Fitzgerald. When we brought our poodle, Clementine, for her stay, we let the staff know that Fitzgerald wouldn’t be with her this time. Today, to our surprise, we received a beautiful handwritten note from the staff, offering their heartfelt condolences and sharing in our grief. Their thoughtfulness and empathy made our heavy hearts a little lighter, and it reminded us just how much they genuinely care for the animals—and the families—that come through their doors.
Thank you, Country Pet Lodge, for going above and beyond, for treating our fur babies with such care, and for giving us comfort in a difficult time. We are so grateful to have found a place that feels like an extension of our family.

This establishment has consistently exceeded expectations in caring for my dog. As a full-time student employed in healthcare, managing finances while paying rent in Voorhees and loving my fiancé who enjoys frequent travels across the globe can be …you know, — pricey. Yet, this place has remained a reliable sanctuary for my dog. After a recent 13-day journey through Northern and Southern Ireland, Scotland, and England, I returned home to the comfort of knowing I had secured exceptional care for my pet at a remarkably reasonable price—a significant relief amidst my financial constraints. I utilize their services approximately every two months, and over the past two years, there have been only minor communication lapses. Each time, however, the owner and staff promptly intervened, offering solutions that were not only fair but extraordinarily generous. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and genuine care for my dog make them truly outstanding.
It's always difficult boarding your pet when you're traveling & don't know the care givers. I found Country Pet Lodge & boarded Nino for 2 nights. The staff is very friendly & helpful. They did a great job caring for my baby!

As frequent travelers, we sometimes have to leave Roxy behind, and we wouldn't trust anyone else to look after her. At nearly 10 years old, Roxy has been a regular at Country Pet Lodge for several years, and the experience has been exceptional.
The team at Country Pet Lodge is caring, friendly, and professional, always making sure Roxy is in great hands. The peace of mind we feel knowing she’s well taken care of allows us to fully enjoy our travels. The owner, Damian, and all the staff are wonderful, consistently going above and beyond to make Roxy feel at home.

I love this place. I use to take my little Diddy there for all of their services. They are the best. Diddy is no longer with us now I will be taking his sister Brandi to enjoy all of the services her brother once did. Thank you country kennel for all you have done for us!

Took my dog here yesterday for a bath and a brush and to have his nails done. The staff here is wonderful and they treat your pet like it is their own. I am extremely happy with the job that they did. I highly recommend this place for all your dog grooming needs.
Best place to board your dog! Highly recommend! I have two high anxiety dogs, that do so very well here. We have tried numerous places before this one and never had a great experience until we came here. Best local boarding place, we are coming back again in a couple of weeks!
My dog is actually happy to go to Country Kennel! It is a pleasure to be able to go away and know that your dog is well-cared for, and comfortable. The personnel at Country Kennel are all very pleasant and efficient, and clearly love animals. (This is not the case at some other kennels in the area.)

Country Pet Lodge cared for our 14 year old and 8 month old Westies while my husband and I attended a wedding. They took amazing care of both of our dogs. Our older dog is diabetic and they were able to accommodate his medical needs. I would definitely bring them

I am BEYOND happy with their service. I was told that my dog has a horrible temperament and that he is mean while being groomed by Petsmart (not shaming them) and that he was basically intolerable. When I called pet lodge, the nice young lady asked the questions she needed as a new customer & I advised that he has a history of aggression. She reassured me that they have many years of experience and they’re known for handling “rougher” dogs. I felt so much better after she told me that. When I got the call back that he was ready i was nervous to hear how he did but when I asked, the nice lady over the phone told me he did good, just a little nervous and let me know he can come back (: he looks great, smells wonderful, and is nice and soft. Thanks so much to everyone who handled my “mean” dog. He will be back!!! Highly recommend. 10/10.

This was the first time I used Country Pet Lodge and I was very pleased with the care and service my pups received. I checked on them while away and was able to speak to someone about their status and all was going well. The groomer did a great job for pick up day. The pups were nice and soft! So cuddly. They have another reservation for "doggy camp " in several weeks. I'm happy with the service that I booked again!
It was my dog Boons first vacation here. He had a blast! He was exhausted when he got home. Apparently he loved the pool and play time. Friendly staff. I felt comfortable and free to call and check in on him when I wanted. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. The next time I go on vacation he will too at Country Pet Lodge.
This was our first time using Country Pet Lodge. Everyone was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Our dog came home happy and healthy! (She didn’t ignore us for a week like she has with other kennels) We will board here again without hesitation!
Henry got his first haircut at Country Pet Lodge and it turned out great! I also love the fact that he was not kept in a tiny cage but held in a kennel where he can roam around. Stall were also very nice.
Bella & Roxie were very happy with their stay at Country Pet Lodge and Salon. They enjoyed their time there and the staff was great. They also enjoyed their grooming and came home smelling good. They will be back again!
This is our go-to for every vacation. We like that our dog will get individual attention and not mix with other dogs. They’re always very professional and thorough. Highly recommend.
Donna, Kathy, and the team are awesome!! We boarded our dog there while on vacation. They were able to accommodate her health issues, including a special diet and administration of medicine. They have options for walking throughout the day and special treats. My dog was on vacation, too!!!
We boarded our cat (patches) at Country Pet Lodge and Salon, and we were blown away with their service. Staff is friendly and always happy to help. The service that they provided for my cat was unbelievable. They kept us informed at all times though phone calls and text messages when we were away, and they went out of their way to take my cat to and from the vet when he got a UTI. They genuinely care for the wellbeing of your pet. I am very pleased with the service. 100% recommend!
Country pet Lodge and salon created an excellent first time grooming experience. My Rosie has a lot of anxiety being away from me! The staff knew exactly how to handle it. So I am now confident that this is the place not only to groom her but to board her should that become necessary.
Country pet lodge was amazing. My dog has anxiety issues and tends not to eat while we go away. He was so comfortable that he ate and enjoyed the amazing snack options available. They said he was loving and enjoyed all his hugs and kisses. Definitely will be going back soon.

Boarded both my dogs here first time ever boarding them and staff was very welcoming. They gave my one dog the daily meds she needed they also kept me informed on how they were doing. I needed to extend their stays and they worked with me. My one dog went in with an ear issue that was treated by the vet I explained to them what was going on and unfortunately the treatment didn't work as expected. They immediately let me know and did what they could to keep her comfortable. Due to the medication my dog had developed some stomach issues temporarily they called to tell me what they wefe going to try a rice and chicken diet and other options to help. My situation was not the best but they really helped me I would definitely recommend country pet lodge.
We love country pet lodge. We have to travel for competitive cheer competitions a couple times a year. I trust them with our pup 100%. I know they take good care of her. ❤️
I am amazed at how well they handled my dog! He’s a tough little guy🤦♀️ full bath, clipped and nails cut and filed without using a muzzle! Now that’s amazing! They did a wonderful job and it was a pleasure from my first interaction on the phone. Good job! I definitely recommend them!

They take great of your pet, and keep you informed if there are any issues that occur. I'm new to the area, and this will be my primary boarding place. My dog was well cared for, while I was away. I didn't have any worries, and they are also very affordable! Thanks for such great service!
We've been taking our dog here for the last two-ish years and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. The facilities are clean, the staff is so kind and caring, and my dog always seems to come back happy (and tired, which is a tough one with an energetic dog like him). Our dog recently started some new medication and they were incredibly accommodating with giving it to him and also giving him an extra treat to encourage him to take it.

It was the first time I tried this pet lodge. I wasn't disappointed. I have three senior pets ranging in age from 13 to 10 years. They took such great care of them as if they were their own. From giving them the medication needed to maintaining their special diets, they did an excellent job. I am pleased with their services. I highly recommend them.
Our pup had an amazing time during his vacation! We've left him at a few pet hotels in the area and we can tell his care here was far above the rest!
We got our nine-year-old cat shaved and groomed for the first time ever to help with her hairballs in the summer, and they were great! She was in and out in 30 minutes and they did a fantastic job. I was extremely nervous because our cat can be a bit... dramatic... but everything seemed to go without a hitch, and I am so impressed with their speedy professionalism. We were so happy with the service and the outcome, we will definitely be coming back here in the near future!

Turbo seemed to be well cared for and he's not always an easy dog so we're thankful for that. We appreciate you looking after our crazy pup while we enjoyed a family vacation. We will absolutely recommend you to any friends and family.
First time 14 year old Lucy had to spend a night away from home and all the folks at Country Pet Lodge took good care of her. I would definitely recommend it to other dog owners❣

My dog had a great weekend at the Lodge. It was his first time there but not our first experience with this facility. They are first rate. You can trust them with your pets.
My dog Brody was recently diagnosed as diabetic and thus is now insulin dependent. The kennel he has been familiar with for 7 years cannot administer insulin shots so I was in a panic to find an alternative for boarding. The folks at Country Pet Lodge were patient with my 100 questions and were very willing to give Brody a trial overnight stay to make sure they could meet his needs. I appreciate their kindness both to me and my stressed out pup!
Simone's groomer did a very nice job with her she came home very happy and well taken care of
We brought our just over 1 year old Rough Collie, Scout here earlier this week. I was very impressed with the staff and their attention to detail. Donna did a great job making us feel welcome. Our groomer did a fantastic job trimming Scout’s body, legs and around his ears! His nails were trimmed expertly as well. Country Pet Lodge had him ready to go quickly at right around 2 hours.
Scout even got out of his collar and decided to investigate the office due to having much less hair to hold it on. They didn’t mind and were very kind until I could get the collar back on him. There are toys, traditional and home made treats as well as pet supplies for sale as well. Very well kept and clean appearance too. The pricing is very fair which is an added bonus.
I would consider us picky with where we take our pets and we’re devastated when Furry Tails (our previous groomer) closed unexpectedly in Deptford last year. Well it was great we found Country Pet Lodge. We will be coming back often and have found our new groomer! Thanks for a great experience for Scout!

I had my 92lb fur baby Travis board at Country Kennel for a week. Travis shared a kennel with my mom's yorkie Smokey. They seem to have a bit of a slow start due to being in a different enviroment, however quickly adjusted. The staff at Country Kennel were great when we called to check on our fur babies. We received lots of feedback and I felt super comfortable having them in a safe place while on vacation. The pups even got a report card, which I loved! Travis was groomed at the end of the week, he smelled great and his coat was very soft. I highly appreciate and recommend Country Kennel. thank you!
